I established PR Knowledge Hub to help you excel. After decades training public relations and communications professionals around the world, I launched PR Knowledge Hub in 2016 so you could have easy access to great learning opportunities. I know how difficult it can be for practitioners to attend professional development sessions and conferences in person - even more so in our challenging times - so here you can learn at your own pace, in your own place. |
Designed for you |
The training has been specifically designed for people who work in public relations and communication. Sessions are delivered in English but the principles of practice are global and can be applied across all types of public relations and communications activities and many cultures.
You'll find a range of courses so explore and see what best meets your need. Our learning requirements change constantly because we deal with constant change. Our profession needs to look beyond its current boundaries and consider what form we will take in years to come. To that end, I'd encourage you to delve into some of the thinking and reflective sessions as well as some of the 'how to' modules that will refresh and hone your skills. If you are stuck and don't know where to begin your professional development planning, download the Building Capability guide below which will give you information and advice on what to learn and when. ![]()

My working life has been dedicated to raising standards and improving education and training in public relations and communication. Since 1999 I've worked with thousands of practitioners around the world helping them develop their professional knowledge, understanding and abilities. In creating PR Knowledge Hub I hope to act as your guide and facilitator, helping you to navigate the ocean of lifelong learning every PR professional must tackle.
There are also some reference links and resources for you and, wherever you are based in the world, I would urge you to join your professional association. If you aren't sure where to find them, a good starting point is the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management which has a list of member countries and associations. Finally, if you don't know what you need to know, the post here may help you decide what to sign up for. It is based on the continuing professional development 'wheel' I devised during my tenure as Secretary to the Global Alliance and it highlights the areas of knowledge practitioners should be familiar with, along with the subjects we all need to explore next and for a more recent look at what you need to know download the Building Capability guide you'll find on this page. |
